Cyclouvia is returning the Highlands for the 6th time on Sunday, October 22nd from 2 to 6 PM. The street will be transformed into a paved park where people of all ages and backgrounds can walk, bike, dance, skate, or participate in any other physical activity on a public space that is always there but is normally reserved for automobiles. This event attracts thousands of people and provides a unique opportunity to experience one of Louisville's most vibrant corridors in an entirely unique way.
Bardstown Road from Douglass Boulevard to Broadway will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2-6 p.m. during the event. Police will facilitate automobile crossings at Grinstead Drive and Eastern Parkway. Many businesses along the corridor will be open and engaging the street with specials events.
